This is a Day Preparatory School. It stands on high ground in a pleasant residential area and is well equipped with modern classrooms, large dining room, gymnasium, stage, Science Laboratories, Library, Art Room, Computer Room, Music Block, hard playground, 3 hard cricket nets, indoor heated Swimming Pool and hard Tennis Court and multipurpose sports court.
Boys are admitted from the age of four years and are prepared for the Common Entrance and Scholarship Examination to the Independent Senior Schools as well as for the Junior Entrance and Scholarship Examinations to the local day Independent Senior Schools. A high standard of work is maintained throughout the School, and the School record of examination success outstanding.
The main games played are Association football and swimming in the Christmas Term, Rugby in the Easter Term and Cricket, Swimming, Athletics in the Summer. A great deal of Table-Tennis is played in the winter. Many clubs are run after school hours so that the older boys become deeply involved in the life of the School. Music flourishes and there are three choirs. In the 3rd year (aged approximately 8 years), the boys learn 3 musical instruments as part of their normal curriculum. Drama is greatly encouraged and every summer a musical is usually produced involving a large number of boys. Many outings are arranged for the boys to concerts, theatres and local or national places of interest to enhance their social and academic development. Music, Art, Drama and Games play a large part in the life of the school and all contribute to the busy, happy atmosphere.
The School is supported by a flourishing and enthusiastic Parents' Association.
